School Fun

So today I started my second semester of college and I ran into the same problem I always have when I am in school. I don't fit in the desks. I have two factors to my discomfort. First is that my legs are long, most of the time they are longer than the chair is tall. This means my legs are jammed under the desks with no where to go. The second is how high the chair must be to alleviate the first problem. In order to give my legs more room I raise the chair way up and then my legs bump into the bottom of the table. Its really a pick your poison scenario. Short people can just sit down and be comfy (or at least as comfy as you can be in a desk) but I fidget and move around and can never ever ever get comfy while sitting at a desk because I have freakishly long legs.

Beds

Most people for instance actually fit in a bed. I haven't fit in a bed since I was 13 years old. i had this twin bed back then and I grew till I didn't fit. Anyway then I got a queen sized bed with plenty of room for me. Unfortunately I did not just stop growing just because I did not fit in a bed. I kept growing and now it's to the point where I barely fit on the queen bed. The only way I fit on the queen is if I sleep from one corner to the opposite corner sleeping diagonal. I also can not stand sleeping with head boards and foot boards because I cant get a good night sleep while getting concussions and stubbing my toe all night long. I wanted to live on campus when I started college last fall but the small dorms could not fit a bed for me. The upperclassman dorms have enough space but I am only a freshman. They wouldn't give me a big enough bed so I decided not to give them my money.

Everyone seems to think that being tall is such a good thing, little do they know the many pains and aches that come with being so tall. Everyone is so quick to want to be tall and no one wants to be short. However! I will end the notion once and for all!
